Thank You for Coming

  • My husband and I run a Chinese restaurant. We used to offer delivery, but after about a year of opening, we decided to serve only customers who came to the restaurant in person. Since then, I have grown deeply grateful to every customer who makes the effort to visit us. Before long, saying “Thank you” became a natural habit. Whether it’s a day of heavy rain, falling snow, intense heat, or bitter cold, I feel nothing but gratitude toward those who walk through our doors. So I always greet each customer with a sincere, “Thank you.”

    One day, a customer asked,

“What are you so thankful for?”

    I replied,

“How could I not be grateful when you go out of your way to come here?”

Just as I express gratitude to the customers who make the effort to visit us, I resolve to become a child who offers daily thanks to Heavenly Father and Mother, who came to this distant earth to seek and save Their sinful children.
