  • In cold winter days, when the temperature drops below freezing, a slow-flowing river and a pool on the ground turn to solid ice that anyone can glide over it. On the contrary, when water is heated, it
evaporates. Liquid water cannot fly into the air, but it can, when it turns into vapor.

What was impossible before can be done easily after transformation. The principle applies to God’s children too. As Mother said, if we are reborn as heavenly people, giving thanks in all circumstances will become easy although it was hard to practice. Being joyful always and praying continually will become our everyday life. We can surely love our brothers and sisters as ourselves and even save a soul easily. But we cannot do it alone; we must seek for help. Just as water cannot change without an external stimulus, we cannot change without help. So let’s ask God who makes the smallest a mighty nation for help.

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Eph 4:22–24)
