The Higgs boson is an elementary particle that composes the universe, and it plays an important role in explaining about the universe through modern physics. But physicists failed to prove its existence for about 50 years even though they could foresee the existence of the Higgs boson. However, the European Organization for Nuclear Research [CERN] proved the existence of the Higgs boson. CERN successfully developed and manufactured the Large Hadron Collider [LHC] which is a 27-kilometer [17-mile]-long powerful particle accelerator in collaboration with over 10,000 physicists for 25 years. Furthermore, thanks to long years of hard work from thousands of physicists who visited CERN, the existence of the Higgs boson finally got proved in 2012.
Such a collaboration system as above was regarded as the key factor in
CERN’s success. Sergio Bertolucci, a former assistant director at CERN,
explained that scientists from 100 different countries were able to bring
about outstanding achievements despite differences in their country of origin, language, culture, lifestyle, and their way of thinking, because they had a specific goal of benefiting mankind through science. CERN developed the World Wide Web [WWW], took the lead in Internet revolution, and produced a number of Nobel laureates.
We are gospel workers entrusted with the mission to save the whole world. It does not matter that we have different backgrounds and lifestyles. We can generate an incredible level of synergy if we trust one another with one accord, hoping to achieve the specific goal of saving all mankind.
