On the last day of preaching festival, I was practicing the subject of “The Book of Life.” After finishing preaching the sermon, I once again read the Bible verse.
Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. (Php 4:3)
I read the verse many times even when I was preaching sermons with my Zion family members or studying the Bible alone, but this time, it felt somewhat different. I took some time to reflect on my life of faith with fear, thinking, ‘I didn’t do my best to preach the gospel during the COVID-19 pandemic. Is my name really recorded in the Book of Life?’ From now on, I will become a good gospel worker by cherishing God’s teaching all the more.
