The Overflowing Comfort We Receive from God

The word comfort refers to easing someone’s suffering or soothing their sorrow through warm words or actions.

For the one who offers comfort, it involves making an effort and caring for another person with sincerity.

As we walk the desert of faith, we often face many obstacles. Yet we are able to overcome them because God works on our behalf and fills us with overflowing comfort. His love—revealed through His sacrifice, even to the point of death for our salvation—never ceases.

I give heartfelt thanks for the love and grace of God that comfort us each day. Remembering that love, I will strive to grow into a mature child who can also bring comfort to Him.
