I have two daughters: one nine years old and the other six years old. As my birthday was approaching, they thought about what they could do for me. The day before my birthday, they urgently asked me what my wish was. “Well, I want you both to sing a new song for me together.” My older daughter said okay right away. The problem was my younger daughter who didn’t know how to read yet. To fulfill my wish, my older daughter had to teach her younger sister the lyrics of the song. I was a little worried, and sure enough, I heard them arguing. After some time, my younger daughter came to me and asked, “Mom, do you really want us to sing a new song for you?” “Yes, I want you two to sing a new song together without arguing.” After confirming my wish, my younger daughter went to her older sister and said that she was going to do it with her. My older daughter calmly taught the younger one the lyrics line by line, and my younger daughter practiced singing the song many times although she couldn’t even pronounce the words correctly. On my birthday, my daughters sang me a song with their little lips like chicks. They even made a dance for the song. I could feel their love for me, and it seemed that I had received a big gift. Although we are not perfect, if we are united with one another, Heavenly Mother will be so pleased. As a child of Mother, I want to please Her by preaching the gospel in unity with my brothers and sisters.
