One day, I watched a TV program about paternal love. It was a story of a father giving endless love and attention to his two growing daughters. The father has recorded in detail about their growth over time ever since they were in the womb. As his eldest daughter entered puberty, the father-daughter relationship got on rocky ground. She tried to avoid talking with her parents, and even defy them. After much consideration, the father put together the diaries he had been writing till then, and put them in the bookshelf of his daughter’s room. Reading the diaries, the daughter realized how much her parents loved her, pulled herself together, and did not yield to bad temptations. There are times when I feel tired and tempted to give up on my journey of faith. Also, there are times when I want to do as I please even though I know it is wrong. That is when I read Father’s writing. It is the Bible, the book that contains God Elohim’s love toward Their children from the moment they were created. Whenever I read the Bible filled with God’s love, I can realize how much God loves me. And I regain strength to keep on walking the life of faith.
