When I moved into my new home, my family asked what I needed, wanting to give me a housewarming gift.
Not wanting to be a burden, I told them I could buy the essentials slowly over time and suggested simple things instead, like kimchi or some side dishes.
That was when my grandmother spoke up.
Hearing those words, I could no longer refuse. After some thought, I asked for a clock—something I would look at every day. Now, every time I check the time, I can feel my grandmother’s love.
Whenever I use the things my family has given me, I am reminded of them and filled with gratitude, realizing just how much I am loved.
I realized that I have also received so many gifts from Heavenly Mother. The brothers and sisters by my side are a gift, ensuring my gospel journey is never lonely.
The circumstances I face are also gifts, carefully prepared to refine and transform me. Even the twenty-four hours granted to me each day are a gift—a precious opportunity to store up blessings in heaven.
Perhaps Heavenly Mother has given me these gifts so that I will always remember Her and never lose sight of my hope for heaven. I truly want to be a child who never forgets the depth of Her love and remains forever grateful.
