I had always known the story of the five loaves and two fish and of Jesus walking on the sea, yet only recently did I come across a verse that captures what the disciples were truly feeling at that moment:
That night, after witnessing the miracle of the five loaves and two fish, the disciples were astonished to see Jesus walking on the sea. In just a few hours, they had forgotten His power, and their hearts had grown hardened.
Our Heavenly Father and Mother created all things from nothing, parted the Red Sea, and above all, performed the greatest miracle—granting eternal life through the Passover. Yet even as I continually witness and feel that power through the Bible and the words of God Elohim, my heart often hardens, forgetting it whenever I turn away.
I will do my best to live in such a way so that it could be recorded in the “New Acts of the Apostles”: “She recognizes the power in all that God Elohim leads, never forgetting it, and keeping her heart ever alert.”
