Most pots in Brazil are made of aluminum, so if we wash them with a normal steel wool, stains remain as if not washed properly. We have to wash them with a scouring steel wool pad called bombril.
One day, while washing the dishes with a bombril as usual and looking at a shining pot, I thought the pot looked like me as it quickly became dirty again though I cleaned it on the previous day. Though I was once washed with God’s words, my soul often became dirty again because of my sinful nature. Just as we wash pots with a bombril to polish it again and again, I will not stop polishing my soul with God’s words.
To clean pots, we need to rub them hard with a bombril. In the process, rusty water can stain fingernails and fingerprints. Sometimes, steel scraps pierce finger joints and cause scars.
Heavenly Mother has sacrificed Herself until now in a human form to wash my soul stained with sin and arrogance. She only worries about the safety of Her children even in pain and suffering She has to endure all alone. My heart ached so much; I could be cleansed only through Mother’s sacrifice and I was healed thanks to Her sacrifice.
Heavenly Mother cleanses my soul always with Her love and makes me shine in the end. I was slow to understand because of my hardened heart like a stone, but now I will resemble Her in love and sacrifice. Emitting a rich fragrance of Zion that spreads throughout Brazil and to the whole world, I’ll bring smiles to Heavenly Mother and love Her forever.
