But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. . . Every time I faced trials, hardships, and difficulties, I would always ask Heavenly Father to please come quickly. I had been like this until I encountered this verse through Mother’s words. Thankfully, God gave me answers to my prayers through this verse.
God wants me to be fully changed to live a holy and godly life on this earth because because only those who live holy and godly can enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
I looked back upon myself and discovered that I had not been godly in Zion and outside Zion. I had many things to change, such as my improper attire for worship, the way I speak, the way I act, and more.
As God Elohim are holy, They want Their children to be holy. By the grace of Heavenly Parents helping me practice day by day to live a holy and godly life, surely I can wait for Heavenly Father, preparing the perfect lamp and oil.
