One Streak of Light in My Life

  • “There is no life after death. Don’t you think so?”

In my childhood, whenever I heard people deny the existence of the world after death, I would get lost in thought. I thought how meaningless human life would be if there were truly nothing after death.

While living on the earth, people sometimes come to a dead end or feel like giving up everything. However, hope is like one streak of light, which assures us that someday happiness will come no matter how much we’re suffering right now, and motivates us to overcome the hardships before us.

God gave another light of hope to people living in fear of death.

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Co 4:18).

Although the eternal world is invisible, it surely exists. Now I cheerfully live each day with hope for Heaven, no longer thinking in despair that there is nothing after death.

I should be eternally thankful to God just for the fact that He took pity on me and led me to Zion of the truth when I was spending time in fear without knowing that there is the Kingdom of Heaven. However, God has even promised me the royal priesthood, so that I will reign forever in Heaven; I’m a very happy person.

I really want to live the rest of my life, praising and glorifying God Elohim, instead of solely focusing on the temporary things of the earth. Heavenly Father and Mother, I truly give thanks to You for Your grace.
