David, the forefather of faith, who is described as a man after God’s own heart in the Bible, is my role model. His pure love and firm faith in God looks always wonderful. While I was reading the Bible, my eyes became wide open at the words that likened us to David.
“On that day the Lord will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the Lord going before them” (Zec 12:8).
I once again cherished in my heart that I can be like David who defeated Goliath with the help of God although I am feeble in many ways. Today, too, I dream of being found as the one after God’s own heart, like David.
