Where Are You, Brothers? Where Are You Now?

  • Several years ago, I went on a mission trip to Europe. Being my first overseas mission, I was excited, yet a part of me feared how difficult it would be to preach the gospel there.

Determined to find our heavenly family, I devoted myself to sharing the truths of Heavenly Mother and the Passover. Contrary to my expectations, most people were indifferent, and many didn’t even respond at all.

Day by day, my initial resolve began to fade, and I grew increasingly weary. Then, one of the local members whom I was preaching with started humming a New Song.

“Where are you, brothers? Where are you now? Please come back to our Father! Where are you, sisters? Where are you now? Come back to Mother’s loving embrace!” (From New Song “O Heaven Where I Lived!”)

The member and I repeated that part of the song, pouring our hearts into preaching the truth. The thought that one of our brothers or sisters might be passing by made us even more earnest in our efforts. And when we finally found our heavenly family, the joy we felt was beyond words.

It was then that I realized—our Heavenly Father and Mother are constantly calling Their lost children with anxious longing.

Today, too, I press on, singing the New Song and seeking the precious children whom our Father and Mother are calling with such deep earnestness.
