Wonderful Taegyo / Hwang Hyeon-do / Korea
My pregnant wife practices taegyo—a Korean practice in which expectant mothers engage in activities intended to benefit their unborn babies—by reading Elohist. Filled with touching stories and love, Elohist has been a wonderful way for her to practice taegyo. I hope our baby will also receive abundant blessings and grow up healthy.
A Friend Who Understands My Heart / Shim Ye-rin / Korea Elohist, which gives me comfort, understanding, and insight every month, feels like a longtime friend who truly understands my heart. This issue once again moved me to tears and laughter as I began a new month. It was filled with many heartfelt messages—from words of comfort from God, who knows exactly what I am going through, to the story of a Zion member who, like me, was struggling to adjust to a new environment. I, too, want to become a writer-prophet who brings comfort to my brothers and sisters and joy to Heavenly Father and Mother, who pour out Their love on me despite my shortcomings.
A Gift of Love / Park Jin-hui / Korea
Filled with inspiring stories from our brothers and sisters, Elohist is a gift of Heavenly Mother’s love, offering me wisdom and answers whenever I have concerns. This morning, I came across a passage in Elohist that touched my heart. When I shared it with my brothers and sisters, I felt Mother’s love even more deeply.
