Embodying

  • Master musicians who perform the works of great composers possess a depth that goes far beyond faithfully reproducing the notes on a page. They strive to understand the composer’s intentions, artistic vision, and the experiences that gave birth to the music, embodying them in their own performance. As a result, their performance transcends technical mastery, conveying the heart of the music in a way that deeply moves their audience.

The same process is essential when we put God's commandment of love into practice. We must deeply reflect on the meaning of His words, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” and make His example of love our own. Only then can genuine love well up from within.

This process is by no means easy, but it is not reserved only for those with extraordinary talent. As we repeatedly meditate on God’s teachings and faithfully put them into practice in our daily lives, they gradually become part of us, shaping both our character and the way we live. Love that embodies God's word is the love that touches hearts and brings warmth to the world—just as God desires.
