I volunteer as a mentor at a local community children’s center, supporting children’s education. I mainly work with lower-grade elementary students, guiding them through both academic lessons and interactive activities. During study sessions, I usually explain concepts they find difficult, check their answers, and review any mistakes together. When a student gets a question wrong, I always ask:
“Would you like to try it again on your own, or shall we solve it together?”
Most of the time, the children tell me they want to give it another try on their own. I stay beside them, offering encouragement and support.
“That’s it! I know you can do it!””
When they finally find the answer on their own and I praise their effort, the sadness on their faces quickly transforms into bright smiles. In those moments, I am reminded of the power of warm, encouraging words—how they can give courage and lift the spirit.
Every word we speak carries tremendous power. Whenever I feel weary or discouraged, I draw strength from the words of Heavenly Mother. In the same way, I hope to warm this cold world with positive, uplifting words—words that bring light and joy to others.
