Standing Firm in Faith / Sarrah Bracamonte / Philippines
Reading the “Letters from the Military” section, I gained the strength to fulfill my duty right where I am. At the same time, it led me to reflect on whether I am faithfully working toward my goal of becoming a fellow worker in the gospel, even in the midst of difficulties. In the days of my youth, I actively participated in every activity in Zion, but nowadays, whenever I feel worn out, I occasionally give in to laziness. I recall the words I once heard at an education gathering: "What matters is our faith right now, in the present." To follow the will of God, I must examine myself at this very moment. I am grateful to our Heavenly Father and Mother for strengthening my faith through Elohist and reminding me of my spiritual mission of completing the heavenly gospel.
A Guide to Good Deeds / Ahn Ji-eon / Korea
After reading Elohist and putting the “Words of Mother's Love” into practice, many people at my workplace responded with a heartfelt "thank you." To me, Elohist is like a guidebook that gives me the strength to continually carry out good deeds. I give thanks to God Elohim for granting me so much insight, strength, and courage through Elohist.
Have You Read Elohist? / Yoo Hyeon-ju / Korea
I was desperately longing to bear fruit during the preaching festival when my daughter suddenly asked, “Mom, have you read Elohist? It says right there that love is the key to bearing fruit.” My daughter, who once seemed so young and immature, has grown up before I knew it. Seeing her read Elohist and even offer me advice made me realize she is all grown up now.
